Seller Portal Terms
The seller portal is where an owner builds up the picture of their business in their own time. These terms cover what using it means — and what it does not commit you to.
In short
- Using the portal does not commit you to selling.
- You control what you upload, and you can stop at any time.
- Uploading information does not create a listing or notify any buyer.
- You can invite your accountant or attorney; you decide who has access.
- We use what you share to evaluate a possible acquisition and to prepare analysis.
What the portal is for
A private, structured place to record information about your business — operations, financials, property, licences and documents — so that a conversation about value and a possible sale can be based on facts rather than guesswork.
No commitment
Creating an account, completing sections or uploading documents does not oblige you to sell, and does not oblige us to buy. Either side can stop at any point.
What you upload
You keep ownership. You confirm you have the right to share what you upload, and we use it to evaluate a possible transaction and to run the portal.
- Do not upload documents you are not permitted to share
- Take care with employee and customer personal information — share only what is needed
- Tell us if something you uploaded should be withdrawn
Your accountant and attorney
You can invite representatives into your account. Each should have their own login, and you are responsible for who you invite and for removing access when it is no longer needed.
Analysis we produce
We prepare internal analysis from your information, including valuation work. Internal working figures — our target price, our maximum, our own adjusted earnings — are ours and are not shared with you as a valuation of your business unless we choose to discuss them.
Confidentiality
Your information is handled under our confidentiality and information-handling policy, and nothing identifying moves outward without your authorisation.
Ending your use of the portal
You can ask us to close your account. We keep what we are required to keep for legal, security and record-keeping reasons, and delete or de-identify the rest in line with our retention practice.
