About
A Wisconsin Buyer of Neighborhood Retail
Northland Retail Acquisitions acquires quality retail businesses and commercial real estate across Wisconsin, with a focus on gas stations, convenience stores and liquor stores.
Northland exists to buy and operate the kinds of businesses that keep Wisconsin neighborhoods running: the corner fuel stop, the c-store on the county highway, the independent liquor store people have shopped at for twenty years.
We're a principal buyer. When an owner contacts us, we evaluate the opportunity against our own criteria first. If there's a fit, we pursue the transaction directly. That lets an owner explore a possible sale without publicly exposing the business.
We're not brokers, and we're not a marketplace. We don't publish seller profiles, and we don't hand your information to anyone without your say-so.
Placeholder: send us the ownership background, team details and company history and we'll put your own words here once final details are confirmed.
How We Work
Principles
- Direct acquisition
- We buy for our own account. Sellers deal with the buyer, not a middleman.
- Local focus
- Madison and Dane County first, Janesville and Rock County second, select Wisconsin markets beyond.
- Confidentiality
- Nothing is listed, posted or introduced without the owner's authorization.
- Long-term thinking
- We're interested in operating these locations, not flipping them.
- Flexible structures
- Business only, real estate only, or both. We'll work through what fits.
- Early conversations
- Owners often contact us long before they're ready. That's the point.
Considering Selling? Start With a Private Conversation.
Whether you're ready to sell soon or simply beginning to think about the future, tell us about the business. Northland is actively seeking opportunities throughout Madison, Dane County, Janesville, Rock County, and select markets across Wisconsin.
