Electronic Communications & Signatures
Most of this process happens online — agreements signed in the browser, documents delivered through the portal, notices by email. This explains what that means and what you can ask for instead.
In short
- You consent to receiving notices, agreements and records electronically.
- An electronic signature carries the same effect as a handwritten one.
- You can ask for a paper copy, and you can withdraw consent.
- You need a device, a browser and a working email address to take part.
What this covers
- Agreements you sign electronically, including confidentiality agreements
- Notices, disclosures and account records
- Documents delivered through your portal
- Emails about your enquiry, account or deal
Electronic signatures
Where you type your name, tick a box or click to sign, that acts as your signature and is intended to have the same effect as signing on paper. We record the version signed, the time, the method and supporting session information.
What you need
- A device with a current browser
- A working email address
- The ability to open and save PDF documents
- Enough storage or a printer to keep copies
Paper copies
You can ask us for a paper copy of a record. Contact our contact page and tell us which document you need.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent to electronic records at any time by contacting us. Some parts of the platform cannot operate without it, so withdrawing may mean we continue by other means or cannot continue at all.
Keeping your details current
Tell us when your email address changes, so notices keep reaching you.
